This piece was found in an ally, with only 2 legs and a broken/partially missing base. The back 2 legs have been replaced and the piece needs to be lifted in order to be moved- given that they are not as strong as the original. There was a little veneer chipping that was been color matched and is not obvious. Each piece of furniture is unique and rescued from ending up in a landfill, providing a stylish and sustainable addition to your home. Expertly crafted with a focus on reducing waste, Please be aware that these are not new, and have been loved and recycled!
The story behind the name:For me, the most intimidating part of designing my home was creating a space with the perfect balance of feminine and masculine, where I felt cozy while my boyfriend also felt included in the design. I really wanted to create a piece that could help someone out with that same issue! The natural wood provides a great base for any decor style, the shades of green give it a lighter/airy touch while the gingham-ish print provides more of that boy-ish vibe. Given it's a 70s inspired piece and one of the best duos of the time being Sonny & Cher, I decided to name the piece after their song 'Monday'.
